About Photographer Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is a professional freelance photographer who has been working for over twenty years in the field of commercial photography. He began his professional career in Corvallis, Oregon working for Summit Marketing Corporation photographing people, products and still life for client and sales support print materials.

He went on to work for Meier & Frank of the May Company in Portland, Oregon and eventually for Lisa Frank Corporation in Tucson, Arizona. For many years between these important jobs, Michael worked from his own studio as a successful and busy freelance photographer throughout Oregon and Arizona.

Michael's strengths are his excellent creative, conceptual, compositonal and lighting skills. He is comfortable working with or without a layout and can efficiently management time, expenses and sets. He thrives on creative challenges and has proven to be a good team player.
